Have also been using this frame to handsomely set off a more rustic scene of oil and painting, and it has done a beautiful job. I have also used this with watercolor. I want to emphasize . It also is a very versatile frame and never disappoints.

Same frame used to have more vibrant gold color

The one I ordered before was more true golden, this is gold but has greenish undertones that dull the color and bring out greens not yellows and golds and I can't recommend it. I wish they hadn't changed the formula, probably to save $.
