Frame USA CEO Dan Regenold Discusses Proposed Internet Tax

Net Tax In the Tuesday, June 4, 2013 edition of The Enquirer you will find an opinion piece discussing the proposed Net Tax. The article is a Pro VS Con piece that pits the opinion of James McGowan of Macys VS Dan Regenold of Frame USA.

Mr. McGowan’s opinion takes the stance that a Net Tax will level the playing field for brick and mortar stores that have to compete with internet sellers. He states, “It is hard for Ohio’s retailers to compete when remote sellers have a .5 – 7.5 percent built in price advantage..”

Dan Regenold of Frame USA Mr. Regenold ‘s opinion discusses the difficulties and costs involved with the poposed tax collection. “Now, instead of waking up every morning trying to compete with China and Korea, our company, FrameUSA.com, (an American-made manufacturer), gets to become a tax collector for the 50 States and 9,600 jurisdictions across the U.S. We are now in the tax collection business.”
