Here at Frame USA we pride ourselves on creating “Raving Fans” out of every one of our customers–no matter how big or small.

This starts on the front end with our sales/customer service and continues all the way through until you receive your orders. One of the ways that we try to create more “raving fans” from a sales perspective is to provide all of our customers and potential customers with the best prices on wholesale picture frames through our custom quotes.

Whenever you have a big job to do and you are looking for the best pricing around there are a couple different options for you to get a custom quote. If you are a new customer and you are looking for a quote, visit our website and click on the “special volume quote” box in the top right and you can enter all of the information for your custom quote. This will be sent
directly to our sales team and they will contact you and get a quote out within 8 hours of receiving it.

If you are more of a hands-on person feel free to call in to one of our sales team members and give the quote verbally over the phone. This way you can explain what you need the quote for and our sales team can make sure that we get you the best possible price.
If you’re already a customer feel free to email the quote details directly to one of our customer service or sales reps and they will make sure the information gets to the right people and you get the quote back within 8 hours.
It is our goal to provide all of our customers with the best possible price for their quote and by accurately getting all of the information involved by one of the above methods we can make sure that you are getting the best prices around. We hope to make each and every customer a raving fan and by providing our custom quotes with the best prices around in 8 hours or
less. We hope that you enjoy your frames and the way we treat you here at Frame USA!

Pizza places across America have added a comment box to their online ordering, where you can add information about your ordering or leave a thank you. However, some adventurous consumers have decided to stretch the boundaries of what they can request. If you search “draw something on my pizza box” online, you will find a large array of art that has not only been drawn on the boxes, but includes cutting shapes into the pizza and creating all sorts of interesting items.

You would think that companies would scoff off such requests, seeing as they are not part of a normal request. On the contrary, companies know that giving the customer what they request not only makes them happy, but gives the customer a reason to come back. At Frame USA we work really hard to make our customers happy and to insure their return business.

We have had the interesting opportunity to do this with a customer, not once, but twice! The customer had placed an order and added the comment to draw “something really silly” on the box and Lauren Hicks, an artist we have working in the Retail Store, drew a puffin with the caption “Erry Day I’m Puffilin” (see picture) which is a play on the hook from the popular song by LMAFO “Party Rock Anthem.” The customer came back quickly with another order and a note that said “The puffin was amazing! Can you now draw the most awesomest scenario!” For this one, Jen Miller, Sales Operations Analyst and artist as well, drew a picture of a Pirate playing jump-rope with a Mummy and The Blob!

Jen Miller is quite imaginative…

About three or four days after we sent out the order with the second picture, we received an email from the customer that had a great subject line! It said: “Seriously, who do I marry for drawing these?” The body of the email said “Amazing. I want to buy another frame just to frame this. YESSS!” This has been a very fun and interesting turn of events. However, the reward for the small effort to make the customer happy is the best payoff! We can’t wait for the next opportunity to create a Raving Fan!

This month, Frame USA is sponsoring two AMAZING organizations who are helping out locally and nationally.

“Shady Pines, Ma!” Dorothy, played by the late, great Bea Arthur, would say this to her mother, Sophia (Estelle Getty), to get her to stop talking or straighten up her behavior in the classic TV show “The Golden Girls.” This was used as a threat to send her back to the nursing home she does not like. However, since the “Golden” heyday, nursing homes have become much nicer places to spend retirement or needed nursing care. I’m sure most people have had some experience with a nursing home in one way or another. I’m also sure we know that the cost of a nursing home is very high and can put a strain on most families’ finances. That is why this month in the Retail Store we are sponsoring Maple Knoll Village on Springdale Pike. Not only are they local, but they work extremely hard to make their residents have a healthy and pleasant experience.

And it is almost summer, if you can’t tell by the lack of grey outside, I’m sure you feel the change in humidity! That means that there will be more time spent in the sun, and more chance for the sun’s UV rays to attack your skin and potentially create cancerous cells. The Andy Caress Melanoma Foundation strives to bring awareness and education to the fore-front of our attention so the choice can be wisely made to protect our skin. The epidermis is the largest organ in/on the human body and it not only protects the inside of the body from outside harm, but also regulates body temperature and keeps our bodies from drying out. However, just because Melanoma is on the outside of the body, it is NOT less harmful. In fact, it is the only skin cancer that can spread to the brain, spine, and other organs. Andy Caress, who lost his battle with Melanoma at the age of 24, created this foundation: “My goal is that melanoma will never impact any person the way it has impacted me, and I will achieve my goal by educating the world about how melanoma may be prevented and identified.” Along with passing out sunscreen, The Andy Caress Melanoma Foundation holds a 5k run called the “Annual Block The Sun Run” and will be held this May on the 11th. If you are interested in participating, check out andycaress.org/5k for more information and registration!

So your standard print size is 16×20, and you have lots of large format, medium format, and high-quality digital photos that you would like to see hanging on your own walls, and those of your family and friends. For professional and archival results, you could use fine art paper, museum rag, Nielsen frames, and acrylic glazing, but the materials for each one of these masterpieces will set you back over $100, even if you do them yourself. And mounting prints floated under custom-cut mats is a demanding and time-consuming process. A more practical, but still elegant, solution is to print the photos as posters and display them in Economy or Architect wood frames by Frame USA.

Russell chooses our simpler, thinner frames to showcase these beautiful fine art photographs

These images were printed on plain inkjet paper and framed in 24×30 frames. For panoramas, use 24×36. The faux matting and text were added with Photoshop. Since the mat can be as thick as you want it to be, go for 8-ply! I like the Economy frames because of their rounded profile, but Architect works too. Be sure to use a wire hanger with frames this size. Besides being economical, the framing is a simple one-step process. Most importantly, simple plus economical equals more incentive to print, and more prints. Once they are hanging on the wall, you can obsess over them to your heart’s content, and even reprint them if you feel like you have to, without going to too much trouble. Then maybe someday, when someone wants the professional article, you can tweak the photo a little, load the baryta paper, and cut the museum rag.

Russell Cottrell is a fine art photographer. Many of his images are taken of scenic landmarks and natural geologic formations. Russell has several images and photography tips available at his web page here.

Tape your photo to your mat and place your matted photo and the backing back into the frame (keeping the styrene safe for later). Push the flexpoints back down against the cardboard. After your event, open the flexpoints again and remove everything. Remove the protective films on the styrene and place it into the frame along with the signed matted photo and backing. Push the flexpoints once more down against the cardboard. Install the wire hanger and enjoy!

Are you looking for a large picture frame for a poster or larger signage? Perhaps you have a traveling display with promotional materials that you need to display and protect. Maybe you have a restaurant that decorates with panoramic cityscapes and you need a solution to frame these larger than average artworks. Well you’ve landed in the right place. At Frame USA we manufacture a huge selection of wood, metal, and styrene frames just for such a purpose.

If you browse through our catalog of frames, you will notice that most frames that we offer are available up to 27 inches x 41 inches. These large frames can accommodate anything from big movie posters to large trade show displays.

When purchasing a large picture frame it is important that you know the exact measurements of the item that you plan to frame. You should order your frame to fit the artwork or matting , but understand that there must be some overhang that will hide a small portion of the edge. If you are framing your items directly and not using any type of matting, you can look at the profile of any frame moulding on our site to find out how much over-hang there will be once you mount your art or signage.

All of our large picture frames ship with a styrene glazing or facing to shield your photos or other items dirt and dust. The clear styrene facing is quite durable but keep in mind, almost any harsh chemicals will damage and possibly distort the clarity of the glazing. On our large frames, you should take care to use only a soft cloth and water to clean any debris or fingerprints without causing damage to the styrene materials.

Please keep in mind that all of our large frames are made right here in the United States of America. If you require any customization to your large frames, please don’t hesitate to contact our customer service department at 1.800.577.5920, or fill out our custom quote form. We can accommodate requests for custom inserts, laser engraving, or custom matting, to name a few.

Frame USA was also featured on Diane Sawyer’s “Made in America”

Most of you are familiar with ABC News anchor Diane Sawyer who began a “Made in America” pledge last year by claiming that if every American spent $3.33 on U.S.-made goods, it would create almost 10,000 new jobs in the country. She urged viewers to pledge to take a look at their yearly purchases and increase the percentage of goods purchased that are made in America.

With the American economy stagnating and unemployment rates ranging in the 8% level, now is the time for all of us to think about what we can do to help. According to Roger Simmermaker, author of “How Americans Can Buy American”, it is a fallacy that most U.S. made products cost more. Sometimes it just takes more research to see what other brands are out there and which retailers are selling them.

Last week my wife and I spent a week rehabbing a unit we own in South Carolina. We were on a tight time schedule (we had one week to finish an entire unit) and had to work fast. When we looked at furniture we didn’t see a lot of American Made Products—in fact most were foreign. You can’t buy everything American all the time. But what you can do is slide your scale more in favor of buying American. If a consumer achieves even a 50% level of buying American-made products, they would be doing a great service to the Country and all those looking for jobs.

If you boosted the amount of American Made Products that you were buying this year how many jobs would it create in America? Imagine if 335 million people did this……

Get your children involved in this adventure. It is our job to teach our kids to buy affordable, high quality American made products that are both appealing and safe. Children must learn from a young age the importance that supporting ourselves has on our economy, and really their future. With only one out of every two College graduates finding a job it is time we tried a different approach.

Now… on to selfless promotion and Frameusa.com. Virtually every product in our catalog is made 100% in America. We are legit. I don’t want to say that someone hasn’t ever snuck us in a product made overseas that we have bought, but for the most part our frames are genuinely American. And better than that, we offer our products at “real” wholesale prices to customers. We will shop our picture frame prices against any foreign competitor today!

Buy something that is made in the USA and you will be proud of it. Even better – it may come to you quicker, in whatever quantity you want and probably at a fraction of the cost!
